Terms of service

Last updated 22 September 2026

MyTicketBrand is a ticketing service operated by MALIDADDY. These terms are the agreement between us and the event organisers who sell tickets through us.

If you bought a ticket

These are not the terms of your purchase. The organiser who put the event on sets those, and you will find them on the site you bought from, along with their refund policy.

This page is the agreement between us and that organiser.

What we provide

A ticketing shopfront on your own web address, carrying your name and your branding rather than ours.

Ticket types and prices you control, tickets sent to your buyers by email, and a scanner your team opens on any phone at the gate.

We take payment for your sales and pass the money on to you.

Your event is yours

You decide what you sell and at what price, and you are responsible for putting the event on.

You are responsible for what you publish being accurate — the date, the venue, the line-up, any age limit — and for holding any licence or permission the event needs.

You write your own refund policy. It is shown to buyers before they pay, and we store it with each order exactly as it was worded at that moment, so a later edit cannot change what a past buyer agreed to.

How payment works

We are the merchant of record. The payment is taken by us and settled on to you.

The buyer pays a service fee on top of your ticket price, shown as its own line at checkout. Your headline price reaches you in full.

Card processing charges come out of our fee, never out of your payout.

The rates in force when a sale is made are recorded against that order. Changing our rates later does not re-price tickets that were already sold.

Getting paid

Payouts go in Jamaican dollars to the bank account you nominate, after the event and once the money has settled.

A newly added bank account waits for a holding period before it can receive anything, and we email you when one is added. That delay exists so a change you did not make can be caught before any money moves.

Account numbers are stored encrypted. Your dashboard shows only the last four digits.

Refunds and chargebacks

Refunds are governed by your own policy. Where we issue one on your behalf, it comes off what we owe you.

If a buyer raises a chargeback with their bank, the amount is deducted from your payouts. Where chargebacks come to more than an event earned, the balance carries forward and is taken from your next event.

You agree to help us answer a chargeback. The evidence that decides it — the order, the scan, your policy — is usually yours.

Your customers' details

Buyers' contact details are held by us and shown to you in your dashboard so you can run your event.

You cannot export the address list and you cannot type or paste addresses into a marketing email. You are buying reach, not data.

Marketing email reaches only people who ticked a box that starts unticked. Buying a ticket does not subscribe anyone. An unsubscribe is honoured across everything you send afterwards.

You must not use anything you see in the dashboard for anything other than your own events.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into your account.

You are responsible for what the people you invite to your team do with the access you give them.

Suspending an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to sell something unlawful, or is used to take money for events that do not happen.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. What is published here is always the current version, and it carries the date it was last changed. Where a change is material, we will ask you to accept it in your dashboard before you carry on selling.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica deal with any dispute arising from them.
